The CCM Premier R1.9 leg pads offer many of the same features as the Premier Pros, at a lower price tag for the growing elite or amateur goalies. The strapping is considered, by CCM, to be one of the most important areas of the pad, so the R1.9s feature the new minimal leather strapping set-up that is seen on the Premier Pros. The movements of the pads are held in control by a new larger Velcro calf strap that can be adjusted to any goalies preference. The R1.9s features a shallow soft flex boot for optimal boot flex while skating, and a loose fit leg channel for better pad rotation and on-ice seal in the butterfly.
